How to set your Nighthawk router to Router mode

This article will help you alter the functioning style of your router from Access Indicate mode to Router way.

To set your Nighthawk router to Router style:

Connect one terminate of an Ethernet cable to the LAN port of your existing gateway and the other end to the WAN port on your NETGEAR router.
Connect a computer to the NETGEAR router and launch a web browser.
Visit http://www.routerlogin.cyberspace. If http://world wide web.routerlogin.net does not piece of work, try the post-obit:
- http://www.routerlogin.com
- http://192.168.one.ane

You are prompted to enter a username and password. Enter the following default login credentials:
Note: Username and password are both example sensitive.
- Username:admin
- Password:password
  Notation: If the default login credentials do not work, you may have changed the admin password. If you lot cannot remember your new password, you lot must perform a factory reset to restore the router to its mill default settings.

ClickADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Router/ AP / Span / Repeating Mode.
SelectRouter mode.
Click Apply.
The router will reboot and enter Router mode. Your devices will have a new IP address from the router with a default gateway of 192.168.1.ane.
